Commencement Day

Every academic session at Jain College starts with full blown “Commencement Day – A Welcome function for all new Students “ normally held at any one of prominent location of the city. Entire event is managed by senior students. New Students gets to meet college faculty, their seniors and gets loads of information about how they are going to spend 3 important years of their life at Jain College.

Fresher's Day - Welcome Party by Seniors

Each year, first year Graduation students kick-start their extra curricular activities with ‘Fresher's Day - a vibrant presentation of talent and spirit in management related and cultural performances. It is also a stress free ice - breaker for new comers and helps them form cultural links and sensible bonding on a multi cultural campus

Participation in National Level Events like Management & Technology Fests, Business & Technology Quiz etc

Jain college regularly participates in intercollegiate competitions during management fests held in b-schools across India. Jain College is also active participant in prestigious event like Tata Crucible Campus Quiz. For the consecutive 2 year, Jain College reached the Regional final of prestigious Tata Crucible Quiz. Shilpi & Shreshta, BBA 1st Year, in the year 2013 and Vinita & Pushpita , B.Com 2nd Year student reached the regional final of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz.We are runner up in management fest organized by ITM University, Raipur (2014 & 15) and Asian School of Business Management (2015)

Nurturing the Hidden Talent

Jain College strongly believes in identifying true or hidden talent of an individual be it in music, sports, movie making, acting, singing, dancing or any thing and hence provide ample opportunities, resources, expert guidance, financial help to nurture these talents and encourages individual to take it up as a professional career. Success Story – Nikhil Sharda, A Jain College, B.Com 2nd Year Student has directed a short movie on “Child Abuse” , which was well covered in leading newspaper and has been sent to many film festivals. Another group of BBA students ( Amit / Aakash / Nikhil ) are in the process of setting up a company of graphic designing

National Stock Exchange Certification Programme

If students wants to improve their academic portfolio or pursue a chosen area of interest, certification courses can become a viable option. Jain college in association with leading organization like NSE, III etc. offers many certification programme along with their regular graduation programme. One of the most sought after programme is NSE Certified Capital Market Professional (NCMP) offered by National Stock Exchange. More than 100 students from Jain College have already completed this certification under the expert guidance of our faculty.

Research Projects, Seminars & Workshops

A compulsory component of the BBA/BCA program is a industry related research project spread over two months carried out under the guidance of both an industry mentor and an academic mentor. Students are also encouraged to publish research papers and present them at conferences in institute like IIT Kharagpur, Jain University, Bangalore etc. Huge numbers of seminars and workshops are delivered by industry leaders and domain experts all through the year. These program ensure a high level of industry connect.
